your photos never leave your phone
afterparty edits photos entirely on your device using apple's on-device image frameworks. we do not upload, store, transmit or have any access to your photos. there is no account and no cloud storage. face detection used for the glow control runs on-device and nothing derived from it is stored or transmitted.
what we do collect
- anonymous usage analytics — which features and looks are used, app version, device model, language, and an anonymous install identifier. never your photos, filenames, locations or any personal data.
- purchases — handled entirely by apple. we receive whether a subscription is active, never your payment details.
you can turn analytics off at any time in settings → privacy → opt out of usage analytics.
shared look links
when you share a look, the recipe (a handful of numbers describing the edit) is encoded inside the link itself. no photo and no personal data is included, and nothing is stored on our servers.
exports
precise gps data is removed from photos you export from afterparty.
your rights
because we hold no personal data tied to you, there is nothing to request or delete on our side. you can clear all local app data at any time in settings → clear local projects and mixes.
